Odio agosto. Davvero. Ma caldo afoso, torme di turisti e bambini con il pallone non c'entrano nulla. Il problema è il mercato musicale. Ad agosto non esce mai niente di rilevante, fateci caso. Nuovo Yob? Settembre. Earth? Idem. Electric Wizard? Chissà se esce davvero entro la fine dell'anno, ma di certo non ad agosto. Perciò è davvero con piacere che dò il bentornato all'autunno e alla caterva di novità musicali che ogni anno sembra promettere.

Ovviamente bisogna anche rimettersi a regime, non ci si mette mica a recensire il nuovo Earth così fuori allenamento! Meglio partire con qualcosa di più abbordabile magari. Tipo i Black Moth.

BLACK MOTH: Nuova traccia "White Lies" in streaming via The AV Club

I britannici Black Moth svelano la seconda traccia appartenente al nuovo album "Condemned To Hope"  in uscita il 15 Settembre via New Heavy Sounds.

Questo nuovo lavoro è stato prodotto da Jim Sclavunos (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, The Cramps, Grinderman) e registrato dal leggendario Andy Hawkins.

L'artwork è stato interamente realizzato da Roger Dean (Yes, Uriah Heep, Budgie, Vertigo).

"Condemned To Hope" uscirà 15 settembre via New Heavy Sounds ed è possibile preordinarlo QUI mentre la nuova traccia "White Lies" è ascoltabile QUI.
Oltre all'uscita del nuovo album la band partirà per un tour nel Regno Unito assieme ai compagni di etichetta Limb e sono anche stati confermati per il Desert Fest Belgio ad Anversa (10-12 ottobre 2014) assieme ad Electric Wizard, Fu Manchu, Yob, Brant Bjork ed altri ancora. Ecco le date fino ad ora fissate ed il primo estratto dal nuovo album "Room 13".

BIO:

Following the release of their 2012 Debut, the Moth have had a storming couple of years. Playing festivals such as Leeds, Reading and Download, as well as two european tours and a massive 15 date UK tour. Also stamping their live authority on support slots with Red Fang, Karma to Burn, Turbowolf and Truckfighers to name a few. 

In 2013 they released the AA single of Savage Dancer and Tree of Woeas part of the prestigious Too Pure Singles Club.

Now in 2014 they are preparing to release their second as of yet untitled album. Once again produced by Nick Cave sticks man, Jim Sclavunos and recorded by legendary Leeds engineer Andy Hawkins, its shaping up to be a banger. This will be their first hometown show of the year and the band will be performing some new, never heard before material.
