ABRAHMA: Nuovo album da scoltare totalmente in streaming
Il nuovo album dei francese Abrahma intitolato "Reflections In the Bowels Of A Bird" verrà pubblicato il 12 Maggio per l'etichetta Small Stone Records.

LO-PAN: Due date in Italia!

ABRAHMA: Primo brano in streaming tratto dal nuovo album "Reflections In The Bowels Of A Bird"
I francesi Abrahma hanno recentemente presentato un nuovo brano tratto dal loro prossimo album in uscita "Reflections In The Bowels Of A Bird" il 12 Maggio per Small Stone Records.
La traccia in questione s'intitola "Fountains Of Vengeance". All'interno del disco si potranno trovare ospiti prestigiosi del calibro di Ed Mundell (Monster Magnet, The Atomic Bitchwax) e Thomas Bellier (Black Heat Shujaa).

ABRAHMA: Rivelati artwork e dettagli del nuovo album in uscita a Maggio, tour europeo con due date in Italia
I parigini Abrahma rivelano ulteriori dettagli sul loro nuovo album intitolato "Reflections In The Bowels Of A Bird" in uscita a metà Maggio via Small Stone Records.
Questo sarà il loro secondo disco sotto l'etichetta americana e vedrà al proprio interno una serie di ospiti prestigiosi come Ed Mundell (Monster Magnet, The Atomic Bitchwax) e Thomas Bellier (Black Heat Shujaa).
L'artwork è stato curato dall'artista spagnolo Jalón de Aquiles.
La band ha anche pubblicato un video teaser che mostra tutti i dettagli di questo nuovo lavoro discografico e ve lo proponiamo qui sotto.

ABRAHMA: Through The Dusty Paths Of Our Lives

Il disco in questione è di sicuro interessante da presentare, perché nelle sue 15 tracce porta con sé il seme di una tipologia di dischi che affonda le proprie radici nel classico, nelle modalità che hanno fatto la storia del rock e dell'heavy metal. E anche per un genere come lo stoner doom il loro intento sembra essere quello di ripercorrere le strade già battute da coloro che hanno consacrato un genere, talvolta confondendolo però con quel rock più easy listening (come direbbero gli anglofoni), che provoca una inevitabile perdita di spessore ai pezzi proposti.
La questione, però, non può essere liquidata così in fretta, perché le tracce restano 15 e per quanto questo mi appaia - che non me ne voglia la band - più uno sguardo alla quantità che alla qualità, non vuol dire che della qualità non si trovi in questa produzione.

Just the name Paris evokes thoughts of romance.
From tiny streetside cafes serving cafe au lait and fresh croissants to the breathtaking panoramic view as seen from atop the Eiffel Tower, the city simply oozes love.
Thankfully the city of love also has a darker side.
One just as dedicated to love, just love of a different kind. Love of all things heavy and all things rock.
And that’s the real Paris the one where Abrahma lives.
Formed in 2005 under the moniker Alcohsonic, this Parisian quartet epitimized the ideals of Rock and Roll. Blending the classic American 70′s sound with blues, southern roots and just a hint of the modern
Seb Bismuth, Nicolas Heller and the brothers Colin attempted to set Europe on fire. Their flame burned hot but far too bright and after five years, one LP and a scathing trail of live shows sharing the stage with the likes of Brant Bjork and Cactus, their course was run.
But like a phoenix rising from it’s own ashes Alcohsonic has been reborn as Abrahma.
