Prende forma il cartellone della prossima edizione dell'Up in Smoke, appuntamento ormai consueto in terra svizzera per tutti gli amanti delle distorsioni e delle basse frequenze.

Inizio ore 13.30. A spalancare le porte in quest'ultima giornata ci pensano: Space Fisters e Sun And The Wolf. Sfortunatamente non arrivo in tempo per poterli vedere, nel frattempo mi informo sulla perfomance dei Karma To Burn persa la sera prima. Le voci che girano mi chiarificano le idee: "sono stati magnifici oltre ogni aspettativa." non ho ancora avuto modo di vederli con il nuovo bassista ma quanto pare è un colosso.

Vi presentiamo oggi la terza edizione del festival Svizzero UP IN SMOKE, che si svolgerà quest'anno, Venerdì e Sabato 2-3 Ottobre nella cittadina di Pratteln (Switzerland / Basel) presso il Z7 KONZERTFABRIK

Organizzato dalla considerevole agenzia di booking SOUND OF LIBERATION, il festival nato con sede fissa a Pratteln nel 2013 porta sul palco Svizzero una moltitudine di band tra le migliori del panorama Psych/Space/Stoner/Doom a livello internazionale, richiamando fan da tutta Europa anche grazie alla sua ubicazione in Svizzera, facilmente raggiungibile, vicina all'Italia e confinante con Francia e Germania.

Ma andiamo al sodo, le band che presenzieranno per questa edizione sono:

We introduce you to the third edition of the swiss festival UP IN THE SMOKE, which is going to take place this year on Friday the 2nd and Saturday the 3rd October in Pratteln (Switzerland / Basel) at the Z7 KONZERTFABRIK.

Organized by the very important booking agency SOUND OF LIBERATION the festival became sedentary in 2013 and sees the performance of a multitude of bands beneath the best international Psych/Space/Stoner/Doom bands and bring fans from all over Europe being easily reached since it’s very close to Italy and the German and French border.

Let’ s get to the point: The band who will perform in this year’s edition are:

MY SLEEPING KARMA: Moksha (Review)

PSYCHEDELIC SPACE ROCK

Lo splendido Ganesh realizzato da Sebastian Jerke ci dà il benvenuto nel quinto capitolo di una delle saghe più belle della psichedelia europea. Dopo lo splendido Soma (che nel 2012 aveva dato inizio alla meritatissima collaborazione con la Napalm Records dopo il lungo sodalizio con Elektrohasch), i My Sleeping Karma continuano a mantenere l'altissimo livello qualitativo delle loro produzioni con il nuovo Moksha, forti dei loro ormai dieci anni di carriera alle spalle con una formazione solidissima.
Nelle dottrine indiane Moksha è il termine che esprime il concetto di liberazione, intesa anche come salvezza dal ciclo delle rinascite (Samsara) e teso al raggiungimento di una condizione spirituale superiore (grazie Wikipedia).

Finalmente i Teutonici My Sleeping Karma rivelano tutti i dettagli riguardanti l'uscita di Moksha, il quinto e nuovo album per la band Psychedelic / Stoner-rock, in attività dal 2006. 

Attesissimo da tutti i fans Moksha vedrà definitivamente luce ed uscirà ufficialmente il 29 maggio per Austria - Germania - Svizzera - Australia ed il 1 giugno per Italia - Inghilterra - Francia - Norvegia.

Verrà diffuso e pubblicato attraverso l'etichetta Napalm Records, disponibile in Di-gipack e formato doppio LP (Black/ Limited Color Edition).

Altri annunci a raffica per quella che si preannuncia una super edizione del Desertfest London 2015.

Dopo le prime bombe lanciate relative alla partecipazione dei pionieri Sleep , dei Red Fang, Orange Goblin e My Sleeping Karma è il turno di altre sei super band.

Si tratta di Nootgrush, Minsk, Black Cobra, Dopethrone, Agrimonia e Walk Through Fire.

Questi nomi preannunciano che dal 24 al 26 di Aprile 2015, a Londra, ci sarà da divertirsi!

DESERTFEST LONDON 2015: Sleep, Orange Goblin e My Sleeping Karma le prime conferme

Per il quarto anno consecutivo, Camden ospiterà uno dei più emozionanti raduni stoner / doom / sludge / psyche in Europa per un fine settimana ricco di melodie psichedeliche e fuzz a tutto volume. Tre super band sono state già confermate. 

I mastodontici Sleep saranno headliner nella rinomata sede di Koko a Londra Doomenica 26 Aprile. 

Camden tremerà anche grazie ad un super set presentato dagli Orange Goblin che festeggeranno i loro 20 anni d'attività.

Non poteva mancare un po' di sana psichedelia cosmica che sarà rappresentata dai tedeschi My Sleeping Karma.

MY SLEEPING KARMA is a German Instrumental Quatuor that takes you into a mind-blowing sonic experience. Their music is a trip.
