BIO:
NOON was born on the 22nd of September 2011 from the ashes of Stake-off the Witch, a quite well known Italian stoner rock band.
Stefania (vocals and guitar) and Caterina (bass) – ex Stake-off the Witch – have been joined by Marco (vocals and guitar) and Alberto (drums) and started working together.
The idea was to play something new, somehow revisiting their musical milestones (Karma to burn, Melvins, Red Fang, Black Sabbath...): they wanted to make their music powerful and dynamic, seducing and a bit psychedelic, somehow able to recall multifaceted scenarios.
Their story started with some jamming but immediately after the band felt the need to find something very special to refer to. Member’s common passion for cinema made it possible. Each song is composed basing
on feelings and atmospheres coming from a specific movie and in line with this, all lyrics are taken from movies’ scripts. In their songs characters and stories come to life, also thanks to Stefania and Marco singing together, telling stories and reproducing dialogues. The result is a music with a powerful impact: mastodontic riffs are mixed with dynamic phrasings which open sometimes on psychedelic ambiances, making every song vibrant and heavy.
